I mentioned this in PgAL so some of you may have seen it already.
We had our first u/s last Monday. We saw the hb at 117 and everything looked great. Then I started spotting on Wednesday. We went to the doctor's to have an u/s and we still saw the beautiful hb (123). However, the tech saw a "protrusion in the sac" and wasn't sure what it was. I am now on "no activity" restrictions so I can't even turn to running, which has always been my stress-relief (ie. the day I m/c in August the only thing I wanted to do was run and run and run).
I called the doctor on Thursday but he said its just too early to tell what it is or if its a problem. The spotting stopped and there were no cramps, so I'm positive about that. I go for another u/s next Wednesday, which seems like forever to wait :-( If I make it to next Wednesday, I will only be 9w 2d yet I feel like I've had enough stress to last 40 weeks!

I totally understand. I have my "definitive viability u/s" today that I've been waiting for since the 21st. It feels like it's been forever.
I hope everything turns out for the best for you.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Hang in there and try to stay positive! And definitely don't jog!!! Maybe go on eHow and teach yourself how to knit a blanket for the baby - anything to keep you occupied. I know it is so scary...I really do believe that bed rest can help.
BTW, your pets are really cute too! I have 2 black cats and a dog that looks pretty similar to yours. But they would never lay down together...my girls hate my dog!
Thank you for your positive thoughts, ladies! My mom used to tell me that worrying is like a rocking chair...it gives you something to do, but gets you nowhere. Believe me, I'm not even walking right now, unless its from my car to my classroom and back again. The couch and I have become good pals over the last five days. And its all worth it in the end!
Thanks again for the great ideas and support!!!
