Weird WWYD and totally NBR

I went to the eye dr. at the end of last month to get a regular exam and new contacts. They let me try a new brand and they were pretty dry and my left eye started twitching every time I would blink to try to moisten them. It was very regularly and annoying.

Well, they were far too drying on my eyes so I went back to try another brand and told him about this twitching and he just dismissed it and said it can happen blah blah blah.

My new contacts are great, but the twitching hasn't gone away! I am a little worried about it at this point a month later. It is every day and every few blinks. I would say it happens like 4/5 times per hour.

If the eye dr. thinks it is nothing what would you do? See a GP? Believe the eye dr? I just don't know.

I would get a second opinion if it's really bothering you that much. How annoying!!

eye twitching usually resolves on its own with time.

that is really weird but I have no advice. Hopefully it gets better soon.

My eyes go through stages like that now. It started when I was pregnant, and now they just go through stages where they will twitch uncontrollably. It is incredibly annoying. I have been told that stress has a lot to do with it. Don't know if that helps, but that's just what I have been told.

If it kept twitching, I'd get a 2nd opinion.
