Any DC have throat/ear infection?

We spent the evening at the Urgent Care with DS.  His fever got to 104 and he was so miserable.  Dr said it's an ear & throat infection.  Gave him a shot of antibiotics and he has to take oral antibiotics over the next 10 days.

 If your DC had something similar, how long did it take for them to feel better? 

It breaks my heart to see him like this.  I just hope tomorrow he feels a little better.

    DD has a double ear infection right now.  I took her to urgent care Saturday morning after she spiked a fever of 103.2 during the night on Friday.  She's on amoxicillan 2x a day.

    Although she obviously still isn't 100%, she started acting a bit better yesterday afternoon.  I try to keep either Motrin or Tylenol in her to help with the pain.
