We decided to hand out candy with DS instead of going trick or treating- he's not really big enough to understand it, but is big enough to not cooperate and/or not stay in his stroller. So we're all out front at 6:30, the first kids come up, and DS puts one piece of candy in each plastic pumpkin. All continues to go well. Then a one-year-old girl comes up with her dad, cute as a button in a cheerleader outfit, and DS gives her two HUGE handfuls of candy. The next group of three boys between 6 months and 3 years? One piece each. The little three-year-old girl down the street? Three handfuls. We were out of candy in 45 minutes because my DS was trying to buy the affection of every little girl on our street!
He is now crashed out after a sugar rush from one sucker. Ahh, Halloween.
Re: NPgR: DS and Halloween Candy
Oh he's already got a girl at daycare. In the car on the way home he tells me all about what he and Jamie did that day. I am so screwed once he gets to high school.
