  With it still being that early, it could just be implantation spotting. I wouldn't worry at this point. Congrats on the BFP!

  I also had spotting, actually thought it was my period until I figured it was too light.  Congrats on your BFP!

  I had spotting right before my BFP as well, and thought AF was coming. It continued through the 5th week or so and then stopped. I'm 8w2d now.

  That happened to me.  Starting spotting at 8dpo and thought I was out.  But, it was only brown and never get heavy.  Got my BFP on 10dpo and continued to spot.  I think all and all I spotted form 8dpo to 18dpo.  Dr. said it was fine because it was brown and I did not have severe cramps.  Said it was old blood that was probably left over from implantation or my last period.
