Tall Girls- Maternity Pants

I am having the hardest time finding dressy maternity pants ...in long lengths......where do you please recommend a place to buy them?

I have tried Oh Baby and the Mediums are short ..the larges are way too big for my frame but not long enough ......and I am really getting to the point where my regular pants are getting too snug .....

Thanks in advance,

Loveebug =)

Re: Tall Girls- Maternity Pants

  • It depends on how tall you are. I am 5'7 and accidently bought a pair of Gap dress pants in a tall size and they were a good 3-4 inches too long on me.

  • Motherhood Maternity online has pants for tall girls.  But they are online only.  Definitely worth checking out.  Old Navy has longs online as well.

  • My friend is just over 6 foot and has an inseam of 37, she said that Gap is good.  I saw some longs at the partridge creek store last month.  Might be worth checking out if you are on the east side.

  • Gap worked for me; I'm 5'8. Old Navy longs were not long enough for me after I washed them. They shrank a lot.

    Motherhood has longs on the Web site, I think. I have one pair of their American Star jeans in long and they were long enough for flats, not heels.

    If you want to spend a bit more money, Japanese Weekend (online mostly) makes their pants with a 34 inch inseam I believe. I had a pair of work pants from them and I still wear them.

  • I bought a pair from Gap Maternity and they worked out ok since I usually wear flats.  Heels would not be possible in them though.

    I bought a pair of gray dress pants from www.RGMaternity.com and they were the perfect length.  They were a little too snug but worked out ok.  I also bought a pair of the jeans and they were my absolute favorite maternity pants - I wore them all the time!

     PS - I'm 6'0" and usually need a 35-36" inseam.

  • Also check out JCPenney online.  I found a rogue pair of black maternity slacks at Kohl's that had a freakishly long inseam and have been wearing those suckers out.  They were cheap too.  Gap is a bit on the pricey side for my taste.  Also, once you find a pant you like, consider shopping for more on eBay.  You can find gently used and even new tall maternity pants there.

    I am over 6 foot tall and have a 37 inch inseam and found all my pants at JCPenney.  Good luck!
