He just started saying "mama" so now at bedtime he stands in his crib sobbing and going, "mamamamama." How can I resist picking him up for some cuddle time?!

If you are like me, you can't.... However I will tell you that my sister has a 6yr old and triplets that are 3 1/2 and everytime I talk to her she reminds me how mush she wishes she would have cried it out....
The day DD says 'mama' I'm doomed. DH and I switched roles tonight and he got to put DD down for bed and he had to use CIO so I took the garbage to the dump, she cried maybe 2 minutes and was passed out by the time I got back now he thinks it's so easy.

I know! I need to resist! Hopefully this is a one night only deal.
