M/P... sorry I have to ask (tmi)

So I THINK I lost my mp this morning... I went to the bathroom around 6 and it was dark but when I wiped it was sooooooo super wet, (sorry, tmi) then when I got up I had this HUGE booger like thing, but it wasn't bloody, does it have to be bloody?  And of course MILD contractions this morning.... you think I"ll meet my baby soon?  I really didn't want it on Halloween, but I have a feeling I might afterall!

    I lost mine a week ago- exactly as you described it. (actually it happened over 2 days) I'm still not in labor- but I am in the hospital trying to stave off pre-term labor, so I may not be the best resource on how long it may take for labor to start. But I'm pretty sure you can lose it and still go for awhile without anything happening.

    I know people who have lost it early and 'regrew' a new one so to speak. So I don't think it can be used as an accurate measure for when labour will start.

    I know everyone is different, but I lost mine 2 days before I went into labor. It was not bloody, it was a light pink blob of jelly-like stuff.
