Made some peas for the boys this week - not their favorite, but they still ate them.
Anyway, I'd made them before, but at that stage they were just barely tasting food, so they weren't eating enough for it to make a difference in their poos. Now that they're gobbling it up as fast as I can give it to them, and OMFG peas make horrible poos! I never gagged at the smell until today - that was naaaaaasty.
Would I be a bad mother if I never fed them peas again until they're wiping their own butts?
Re: peas are the devil
New Rule: whoever is wiping the butt gets to say what goes in the other end!!

Oh Lisa, once they start drinking cows milk and such, try giving them soy milk.
I have a super strong stomach BUT never, I mean NEVER, in my 3.2 years of mothering, have I almost thrown up everywhere at the stench of a soy poo.
The room still stunk of it an hour after I removed the foul matter from the house lol.
THIS is a good rule!
Heh, this post makes me glad that we're waiting to start solids due to lots of food allergies in the family...but it'll come sooner or later...
LOL oh totally agree - but peas are by FAR the worst of the solids so far. I'm wondering if it will get worse once they start meat?
i had heard that, too, but did not notice a big difference after we introduced meats?
