Devastated - Possible ectopic

I had a failed IVF in August.  With my 2nd IVF in October, I had a BFP on 10/20 and was thrilled.  My HCG levels are not doubling properly and the nurses think it may be ectopic.  Here are my numbers:

10/20 - beta 167

10/27 - beta 1073

10/29 - beta 1440

I will go back on Monday 11/1 for more b/w.  Any words of encouragement are greatly appreciated.  Anyone else been through an ectopic with IVF?  It's so rare, I can't believe it may be happening to me.

 

IVF #1 August 2010 = BFN IVF #2 October 2010 = BFP/Miscarriage FET #1 February 8 2010 (transferred 1 snowbaby)

    So sorry to hear this.  I didn't have IVF-however I had an ectopic & my betas were skyrocketing (going up 4X instead of 2X evey other day).  It wasn't until an ER doctor thought there was a problem that they found it. 

    I am sending T & Ps your way & I hope everything works out.  BTW it's not that rare, esp if you are over 30 or have fertility issues.

    ((HUGS)) I am sorry.  I don't have IVF experience, but I had an ectopic also, although my number never got that high.  Good luck!
