XP: Would you call the OB? TMI

This morning, a few hours after I woke up, I went to the bathroom and had tons of mucousy discharge. It was like a huge glob of EWCM slightly brownish. I haven't had anything like this at all this pregnancy. We did a ton of work on the nursery yesterday and this am (painting, setting up cribs, organizing). I'm resting with my feet up now.

If it was my mucous plug I would have other PTL signs, right? Would you call the emergency ob line?

I was sort of paranoid when I was pregnant, and I would have probably texted my Peri just to let him know and see if he thought I should be seen.

if it was brownish - i would call... When i went into PTL with my singleton the only symptom i had was brownish discharge/spotting... there was not much at all - i barely even noticed it... but when i put a tissue on my finger and inserted it - it was clear that it was coming from the vag... so called - and was told to go to L&D and sure enough- i was in PTL at 30w and woudlnt' have known if i wasn't paying attention to the TP when I wiped.

I had brown spotting at 13w with the twins - my OB had me come in and checked me out- all was fine - but she was glad I came in.

always call when there is any type of spotting - brown or red... it's usually nothing- but can be something.

i don't think it's something to worry about AT ALL but, i would call just to put my mind at ease. if it makes you think twice about it, it's always good to call.
