I don't think I will either. Because I am clausterphobic, so I would need one of the most expensive rooms on the ship. Even the thought of one of those rooms with no window or a little round window gets my heart racing.

I loved my 2 cruises I've been on!! We got rooms with balconies, so that helped. But they make you feel like a queens and kings. Its so nice! I can't wait to go on another one.
The day you first lay in my arms, you made my life complete. Aurora Rose born sleeping at 35w on 4-21-10 BFP#2 {Almond} - 2.1.11 EDD 10.12.11 C/P 2.11.11
What about planes? How in the heLL do they stay in the air????
I know! And why the hell do they have to be at 30,000 feet in the air!? Why not 20 or 10?
I hate flying. I have to take meds when I do and I have an elevated heartrate the whole time or even thinking of it. I read the story about the 2 foot hole showing up in the plane the other day. And it wasn't the first time!

Although I think a cruise would be fun, it terrifies me too. I agree with you all. Flying really freaks me out, it's not natural for us to be flying like that!
I LOVE cruising...I don't like flying though. I figure if something happens on the boat, I can swim for a little while. But if something happens in the air I am out of luck!

I feel the same!! I love cruises and would be able to swim in a bad situation but flying... I'm like my DH likes to put it "$#it out of luck!"
If I ever go on a cruise I will have to have a room with a balcony. I would go on a cruise before I fly though. I HATE flying. Thinking about it gives me anxiety.

mmmmm i love cruises, it's the only way we vacation (we got engaged on a cruise)...though DH doesn't like it (he was sick the entire time. he says seasick, i say too much rum). my parents just cashed in their royal caribbean credit card points for a free 11 day cruise with a balcony room. JEALOUS!
and my dad is a commercial airline pilot...haha! so even though i hate to fly, i've grown up being taught how it works and why it works and blahblahblah. my dad became certified to fly glider planes over the summer, which freak me out beyond belief. they don't have an engine, the pilot catches the wind and goes. my dad flew a few states away before finally turning around and coming back. he thought it was great! me? no thanks!
I love cruises. I've been on a bunch with my family and one with DH. They are great for places where you want to see all of the surrounding areas with minimum effort (like Alaska!). And I love, love the food.

This is the more important question!
We have been on one cruise and it was amazing. We had a balcony room and it didn't feel claustrophobic at all. We did have a couple of days of really rough seas, which was very scary, but the overall trip was awesome!
