I was very active before I got pregnant, ate healthy and was in great shape. I got very sick a few days after POAS at 4 weeks and I was in maternity pants at 6 weeks, I gained 20 lbs in the first 14 weeks-mostly in my butt and thighs, i was so sick I couldn't do anything but eat carbs-working out was out of the question. The dr didnt seem concerned. Now that i've gotten over the sickness, I've been eating healthy again and working out. I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 4 lbs since my last ob appt on the 19th (based on my scales-I weighed myself that morning before my appt so I had a frame of reference). Should I be concerned that I'm not eating enough for the baby? I'm not craving junk and I fill up fast. I've eating 5 small meals a day.
Re: Another post on weight issues.....
I have up days and down days with weight. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. I gained up until 17 weeks lost 3-4 lbs and then at 20 weeks gained again.
Everyone is different and if you are really concerned talk to your doc.
There are calorie calcultors online that tell you how much you should be eating for your normal pre-pg weight and then you add 300 to that for being pregnant. Here is one...
https://www.mayoclinic.com/health/calorie-calculator/NU00598
Mine says I should be eating 1900 calories a day and so being pg it needs to be 2200. As long as you are eating close to that you should be fine. If it makes you feel better I have also had to stop working out due to extreme fatigue/nausea and have gained almost 10 lbs so far. With my last pg I didn't gain anything till 2nd tri but then ended up gaining 30 lbs. So it all evens out in the end. No worries just enjoy being pg, you can always get back in shape after the baby.
After two losses, third time was a charm.

My thought reading the OP is that there is no mention of protein. It is the food that you really want to get into your system. It helps with m/s and it is what helps support growth. Maybe take a look and see if you're getting enough (60g is the lowest amount I've seen recommended, but can be more like 90g depending on your body type).
FWIW, my weight gain didn't really line up with the various web sites' recommendations. Like all BMI-based analyses, they don't take into account your body type (e.g., % body fat).
I wasn't eating protein at all for the first 4 weeks and so the dr told me to add a supplement like ensure or breakfast essentials which I did and I was able to eat one cup of greek yogurt a day which has a lot of protein.
Thanks everyone I will look into the websites.
