You are my sleepy time friend!

Anyone else take Ambien or some other prescription sleep-aid

    No... I have only heard horror stories of what happens if you don't go to sleep soon after taking it. If I can't sleep I take a benedryl.

    I'm curious, what rumors if you don't sleep after you take it?

    I don' take Ambien, but I've had a Unisom before. They usually help, otherwise a Benadryl will knock me right out.

    I have before, but haven't taken anything since LO was born in fear that I wouldn't hear her if she woke up... she's not such a great sleeper :) And I doubt you can take that stuff while breastfeeding. But back in the day, I LOVED Ambien,

    I took Ambien and unisom together when I was pregnant, (dr ok'd this.)  I was totally fine, it didn't work that great for me.  A few nurses told me that it's not uncommon to do things and forget the next morning.  A few examples were, online shopping, eating foods they don't even really like just to binge eat, (she used the hostess snowballs as an example.)

    What? You can take Ambien? SOAB. My OB said not to take it after delivery. I assumed that was because I'm breastfeeding. Can you still take it while BF-ing?

    Oh how I miss my ambien!!! I can't take it because DS still gets up a few times a night and that stuff knocks me the eff out! If I didn't eat before taking it, DH would usually have to literally carry me up to bed. I did SOOO much stuff without knowing while on it, but hey...I always got a good nights sleep:)
