I am getting tired of fighting microfiber stink with my bgs. What is your favorite, very absorbent, non-microfiber insert besides AFFF since they are so hard to get? If possible I would also like it to fit my BGs in all stages (I don't mind folding).
THanks!
Re: Non-microfiber insert?
I love Loopy-Dos. They are microfiber/hemp combo. If you don't want any mf at all, they obviously wouldn't work for you. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get straight hemp to work for us - DD1 must pee super-quickly because I always get leaks when I only stuff with hemp. So I pair our AFFF with Super-Dos for nights. We have JoeyBunz too, but like pp I pair them with an mf insert.
I do have a couple bamboo inserts (the Weehuggers ones) that I use inside my Blueberry OS. They are very soft and absorbent. But they are also very wide, so they don't fit well in my FBs. Only in the BBs and BGs.

I use bamboo. Initially, I used Greenhorn Playtime inserts. The large size fit fine folded down in DS's BGs when he was on the small rise setting.
I got my Greenhorns used on Diaper Swappers. I have heard that the seller has had some shipping delays and other issues when ordering from her directly. Just FYI.
Anyway, I got a bunch of Blueberry bamboo inserts from the clearance store a month or two ago, and that's now what I use almost exclusively. DS's BG's are now on either the small or medium rise setting, and the large size inserts fit fine in both, folded appropriately. Unfortunately, they're no longer available from the clearance store... too bad, because at 2 for $5, they were a steal! But you can still buy them on non-clearance -- they're the inserts for Weehuggers covers.
Blueberry also has a one-size bamboo insert for sale in the clearance store, but I haven't tried it yet.
