Family costume idea?

I'm going to a costume party next weekend and want a grrrrreat family costume idea. Any suggestions?

    I saw someone this weekend dressed as Lois/Peter/Stewie from Family Guy... thought it was a great idea!

    Barney Rubble, Betty and Bam-Bam

    Popeye, Olive Oil and Sweet Pea (sweet pea was actually a boy)

    Dad-man in yellow hat, baby-curious george, Mom-banana? Maybe a stretch on that one....

    Dorothy, scarecrow and lion

    Princess Lea, Luke Skywalker and an ewok or yoda

    We are all going as M & Ms. Everyone keeps referring to LO as a peanut M & M or a mini M & M, which I love! (Plus my DH who isn't big into dressing up is just wearing a red shirt with an M & M face on it and jeans.) I, on the other hand, will be sporting a large, puffy blue costume, complete with white gloves and white shoes.

    I saw a family dressed as the old man off of the movie Up, the house (mom), and the boy scout. So creative!

    We want to do Peanuts as in Charlie brown and the gang. We have a beagle that would obviously be Snoopy, terrier mix would be Woodstock, Dh would either be Charlie Brown, I would either be Lucy or Sally and DS would be Linus w/ his blanket.

    You could also go as a fruit salad/bowl

    Cow who jumped over the moon and the farmer

    scarecrow and some crows

    bread, peanut butter & jelly

    nurse,Dr., patient--legit or scary

    King Kong, Fay Ray & the empire state building
