I have no clue what to do about DS' winter coat this year. I looked and it seems like most of them start at 12 months which would be way to big on him. He is in the infant car seat and I'm thinking it would be too bulky in that carseat, too. I hate the one piece, snowsuit things for small babies.
DD was a newborn in the winter so we just had her snuggled up with tons of blankets when we went out but DS is kind of at an in between stage.
What would you put on a 6 month old in the winter?
So far I have just been putting light zip ups/fleeces on him and covereing him with a blanket.
Re: Winter jacket for 6 month old?
There are the bundlemes that go on the carseat that I plan on getting for my 2nd DD. For DD1, she mostly wore a coat from ON that was 6 to 12 months.
I don't know where you live, but our winter lasts 4-5 months. So, considering your DS will be 10-11 months old before spring, I would just buy a "regular" coat - whatever you would buy for a toddler.
I just got a down one at REI that I love for DD.
