My sister's IL's are visiting and she's going insane.

Thank goodness they are only here for 2 days (arrived Thursday Night, leaving Sunday Morning).    She called my mom yesterday, saying she was going to pull her hair out.    Can't wait to hear all about the visit.  

It's her SIL, BIL and their 3 kids (9, 7, and 1).  Plus her other SIL and BIL.  These are all her DH's siblings.    The kids have totally trashed her house from what my Mom said.    Then today while my Mom was out for a few hours, they ALL went to my Mom's house and trashed her house.  .

My mom has a huge playroom upstairs for my niece and nephew and Nicholas.   I'm actually jealous of it.    Anyway, the kids (all 5 of them- SIL 3+ My niece and nephew) took out EVERY. SINGLE.TOY.    All the Fisher Price Little People, All the FP houses, the Hospital.    They left no stone unturned.   Did they clean up before they left?   Um no.   

Then they went into my Mom's Laundry room (???????) and took all her nicely folded clothes that she was going to put away for the summer and threw them all over.   WTH??????    Not sure why they felt the need to go in there- it's no way near the playroom.  

My Mom had no clue they were there.  She came home and just had a feeling something wasn't right.   The spare bedroom door was opened (she always keeps it closed).   Jusr something was "off".   So she texted my sister.  My sister said yes they were there- she wanted to show "the crazies"  my Mom's house.

My Mom saw the destruction and was pissed.   The thing I don't get is why my sister and her SIL didn't make the kids clean up the mess.   I mean these kids (especially the 3 SIL kids- except the 1 yr old) should be respectful of other people's property.   My niece should know better too.   When Nicholas is old enough to understand and clean up, I hope to teach him that what he takes out, he must put back- otherwise there will be consequences.    Like today's consequence would be NO TRICK OR TREATING.  

Now my Mom is upstairs in the playroom cleaning up the mess.  it is so bad, you don't know where to start first.   I said "Guess I'm glad  I don't live so close, otherwise they might have hit my house next!"
