    LOL!! I though it was a typo at first, too. Then she posted a pic of his room and his name is on the wall, and she has posted things with his name several times now.

    I second the motorcycle thing.  My DH is into motorcycles, and I've heard of them.  But he's always just said it with the letters (G-S-X-R).

    I would comment on the pic "what a unique name - how do you pronounce it?" Its best to ask now that he is a newborn rather than later. But wow bad name choice for sure!

    I would def pronounce it "Jixxer" after the motorcycle.  DH and I are both sport bike people and that's the bike he has!  But I would not name my child Jixxer!  And even if I would, I wouldn't spell it that way.

    FWIW I did name a pet fish Jixxer once :)

    I have not seen this girl since HS, so I would feel weird asking....but I think I am going to have to.

    FWIW: I just realized that it is the kids middle name, but it is what he goes by. The 1st name is not much better though.
