Huggies vs Pampers sizing

We use Pampers Baby Dry.  I'm not liking the way that they fit anymore, the sides seem to slip...like they stay attached, but the rest of the sized hangs out of the diaper.....I may not have described that correctly.  Anyway, he was wearing size 3's, so we thought maybe he needed fours to correct this problem...it hasn't.

So I decided I want to try Huggies Little Movers.   The size 4's say they go up to 27 or 28 lbs.  Asher is about 17 or 18lbs.  I'm going to buy a small package so I don't waste a bunch, but would you buy 3 or 4?  I tried on a size three baby dry and they were too small.

Anyone go from Pampers to Huggies?  Are the sizes the same, or should be go down to 3's in Huggies?

Re: Huggies vs Pampers sizing

  • Huggies size 3 for sure, unless he's a very heavy wetter.

My LO is about 16lbs and she's just now seeming too big for sz 2. Three is a good fit on her.

    Pampers aren't as absorbent imo.

  • We use them all.   My son was almost 19 lbs at his last appt (a month ago) and we are using size 3's in Luvs, Pampers, and Huggies.
  • Go for the 3s I have found Huggies to be bigger than pampers especially if your LO has small legs
