Does your town do this?

Our town requires all sex offenders to attend a mandatory movie night on Halloween each year during ToTing hours where they show a G or PG rated movie. This year they're showing "Up," LOL.

If someone is sick or has to work they are excused but an officer will show up at their home or place of work to check up on them. 

Is this common in other areas as well?
