recommendations?

I ordered a few lil joey newborn diapers (didn't order too many because I hear the newborns outgrown them pretty quickly).  I really like the look and feel of them and they seem nice and easy since they are all-in-ones.  I'm wondering if there are other recommendations for cds...I prefer to use those that don't require the covers, are people pretty happy with AIOs or do they prefer AI2s?  What are your pros and cons to AIOs?  Thx!!!

    THe other diaper good for newborns is Kissaluvs Fitted size 0.  You *should* get some longer use out of those.  Baby Bee is still able to wear hers at almost 14 pounds.  FWIW, she grew out of her Lil Joeys around 10 pounds.  They tell you 12 but it depends on the shape of the baby.  The rise just got to short for her and she started leaking out of the top.

    I really like the Flip system by Bum Genius. They are designed to fit a baby from newborn up with rows of snaps, and they have inserts that fit into the diaper- kind of like a G diaper but with better coverage, and they are all cloth. It's nice if there's a piece that comes out so that you can keep using the diaper all day (or, until you have a really messy one!) just changing the insert. Econobum is also a similar and nice system that "grows with" baby!

    I like AIO's because they are easy and change as easy as a disposable as you can get.  But, I don't like how they take over 24 hours to line dry.  I have to throw them in the dryer for 10/15 minutes which I don't like doing.  I love my pocket diapers, I have BumGenius 3.0 and 4.0 and FuzziBunz, those are my favorites.  But, none of these will fit newborns...  I suggest trying the Jillian's drawers newborn trial and get a feel for the different choices.  Then order more of what you like.
