Just wondering when your babies dropped?

I am 36 weeks prego ( with my 4th) and baby still hasn't dropped. I've been given a week and half unitl my midwife and I decide what our next step will be.

A lot of women pregnant with their 2nd or more won't drop until they go into labor. I wouldn't worry about it until you're more like 39 or 40 weeks.

I know I dropped some this week...but the OB said she wasn't deep into my pelvis yet...so I don't know if she will stay lower and keep dropping or go back up for a while. I've been sitting on my birthing ball though. I kinda want her to drop low for a few weeks to see if her head will start to dilate me before I actually go into labor....less work when the time comes!

I dropped really early and it meant absolutely nothing, as I never went into labor on my own. I wouldnt be concerned because the baby has not dropped yet.

i am 40w6d and LO has not dropped! She's in station -2 as of yesterday :-(.

I dropped between 38-39 weeks, and had her at 40 w 6 d.

A friend of mine never dropped and went into labor right on her due date.

39 weeks with my first, not yet with this one. I'd be skeptical of anything your midwife proposes trying to force your baby to drop.

I was told at my baby shower (right before 35 weeks) that i dropped. But this is my first, and as a PP said, apparently you don't drop until much later (in some cases labor!) in subsequent pregnancies. I obviously don't know that from experience, only from reading!

I feel like mine dropped like overnight last night. I'm in a lot of pain down there when I walk around, and that's a pretty new symptom. This is my 2nd.
