  Thank you for your thoughts/prayers.  Turns out things are all okay.  The OB had me come to his office immediately - he was even not in clinic.  He was just doing paperwork!  He did an ultrasound - the baby looks great, measuring at 11-12 weeks, no signs of internal bleeding.  The bleeding I'm experiencing is all from the cervix - looks like I may have an infection and I have the joys of using the Clindamycin gel for the next week.  But better than the alternative!  He's going to see me at my scheduled 12 week appt (this Wed).
  

  And the reason why I didn't go to the hospital was because the cramping did not worsen/continue that much longer and the bleeding still continued to be light pink and slow.
