1st Trimester

Question for 2nd (+) timers

I know I've been through all of this once, but I just feel like I can't remember all the do's and dont's of it all. Anyone else feel like they forgot everything the knew?

  • LOL, no, I actually feel like I've been pregnant for half my life.

  • not really.  though I can't remember if I ate lunch meat unheated or not.  I know I ate hot dogs.

    what I did forget was how I felt...unless this baby is totally different from DS 

  • most of the dos/don'ts I can remember but just the other stuff like "is this normal?" is getting to me.  LOL   Although I don't remember my doc saying 'no fish at all' last time--I remember he said to limit it a lot--but this time said no fish.  Said no red lunchmeat.  Said I could lift DS but other than that nothing over 20 or so pounds. 
  • Ditto to previous poster. Although I was just pregnant 9 months ago so my memory is still quite in tact. For me this time I just suck, I haven't been reading any books or taking belly pics or remembering my vitamin! Poor child ;(
  • yes and no - I'm not reading like I did for DS, but I feel like I remember all the major stuff. I'm not as stressed out this time around - maybe it's because I just don't feel like I have time to be Smile Oh but I'm definitely not as good at eating healthy this time...maybe I better work on that
  • LOL - Yeah I was half way through a Cobb salad the other day and thought to myself, "hmmm, oh yea, I don't think I am supposed to eat bleu cheese"...I didn't freak out or anything- I actually finished it cause it was so damn tasty...but that prompted me to think the same thing as you so I dusted off the old books.  I too am also pretty relaxed about it this time - other than just being worried that everything is okyay and the baby is healthy - but I just don't have time to stress myself about all of the other stuff between working full time, an hour and a half commute and trying to get a little one fed, bathed and to sleep in about an hour and a 1/2 every night.
