where s Emjay from? The name "Truedat" has been bothering me. Isn't that an expression that is more strongly associated with the Gulf coast region, especially New Orleans? I know people use it every where, but it just seems if you used that as a s/n, it would be likely you would be from the gulf region if it were that big of a part of your identity.

I've heard "who dey" or "who dat" or "who dem." I have heard "true dat" as a regional expression, but I could be way wrong. It's a good thought, though.
Man, I shoulda spoke up last night....when someone mentioned jaime me whatever, it totally clicked as being emjay. And I bet we won't see her again - as if the next deleted the post, they likely deleted her as well.

There was a really old cooking show--the "chef's" name was Justin something. He was an older man and he did a lot of creole/cajun cooking--he used to say it all the time. He would say something along the lines of "This is the best jumbalaya you'll ever taste, true dat!" Ths was even before the cooking channel, so it's an old expression that goes way back.
ETA: This is the guy who used to say "true dat," although I didn't search long enough to find a clip of him specifically using that expression.
I like to think that whoever it is, they saw my last post about it --- have a conscience and decided that it really was ill-intended and mean and then they deleted it.
I'm guessing though that the Nest deleted it.
*I* deleted mine as it was starting to head down the same path and I really didn't want to dredge it up again. *I* should have PM'd her and I realized that after the fact so deleted.

Oh and THIS made me laugh. Yes, I must be from that region because of my ghetto speak. How open minded of you.
This is someone who knows me, knows me well, tolerates me, pretends to like me and just felt like being a douche. There might have been an ounce of concern but the real intent was to stir the pot. I'm not sure WHO would sit at their computer and decide, randomly, "I'm going to rehash someone's parenting faults, pick on their kids and I'm such a coward I'm going to pretend it's because I really truly care and think this post is going to make some serious changes in their lives!"
I agree w/ Jodi, I don't think it was Emjay or anyone with a "troll-like" image. It is someone who we all "know" and I think someone nobody would suspect.
I did have one suspicion, but I like her too much to want to think it is her, plus not everything adds up so I think I was wrong anyways.

Re: so I think it's gone
I TOTALLY think it was emjay now....
she got scared that I figured her out.
HMMMMMMM....Jodi's is gone too..
Wonder if the nest god's intervened......
either way, I'm sticking with my gut on this one.
fess up, truedat-----(not that I'd believe anything from her)
I NEVER suspected gibby.....she's snarky, but does it as herself....why would she create an AE.
Oh, I wasn't saying she would create an AE. I was saying even she's not ass enough to post something like that.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.

I'm always too afraid of being wrong....

Nope, not Emjay. I must have missed the drama with her because while the name sounds familiar, the drama does not.
And I dd'd, not The Nest.
Anyway, you guys thought you were quite the Super Slueths didn't you!
Oh and THIS made me laugh. Yes, I must be from that region because of my ghetto speak. How open minded of you.
FWIW, I don't think TrueDat is Emjay.
Emjay has no vested interest in me.

The two people I am thinking of....well, I've never had issues with and it would make me sad to think either of them would do it. But whatever.
They know who they are. If they can live with themselves for causing drama by using my children and their weight as ammunition, well, so be it.
Not the kind of person I am and seeing that post made me even more grateful for my over abundance of empathy!
