I'm having a small party on Halloween and need some ideas for a Halloween-y dish for the kids (all around 2yrs old). My main dish is chili with turkey. DH thought we should have something more "toddler friendly" also. I'm thinking low mess, easy to eat with protein. Ideas?
Not sure if you're wanting to make a dish with a Halloween theme but we had a Halloween potluck at work and had (among other things):
Ogre Eyes with Swamp Worms (spaghetti and meatballs except the meatballs were stuffed with a green olive that was stuffed with a black olive; you could do bite size pasta like ziti or something)
Monster Toes (mini corn dogs)
For my son's 2nd birthday party, we got a popcorn chicken platter from the grocery store that was a HUGE hit with the little ones.
