What the heck?!?

So I was reading someone post about being pregnant and on tricare standard. and well now im confused everyones reply was saying they had to pay pretty much no more than 1000 ... my bill was for 2223! So im a little confused!

    Even $1K is high.  Your doctor has to get two authorizations under the global maternity coverage - one for prenatal care and the other for labor and delivery.  Were most of the charges related to L&D?

    Okay Im a total tard! It was for Nathan my son and I have to send his insurance infor back to the hospital b/c it wasnt applied to the bill!
