I don't think there is a NB size. There's 0-3, then 3-12 and 12-24. The other brand that we have are 0-6 and 6-18. Socks fit for a lot longer than other clothes I guess.
Gavin is currently in the 6-18 month size. The 0-3 size never fit him.
You know, I don't think there is such a thing as NB socks. I'm pretty sure they're just 0-3...but what about preemie babies? Hmm...You may want to try Carter's too.
Most of Caroline's socks when she was little were Trumpettes and those are 0-12. They worked, although they probably were a little big on her at first and she outgrew them a little before 12 months. They are awesome socks though and hold up well.
Carters makes NB socks. Since LO was a small baby we had to use the NB socks because the 0 -3 were falling off his feet! Although once he started growing we quickly jumped to the 6 -12 month socks and now he is in 18 months.
I really like the Hanes baby socks at Target. I don't know what their smallest size is though, probably not newborn. Carters makes some pretty small ones
