what's the difference between Leapster2 and Leapster Explorer?

thinking of Christmas ideas for dd and I wonder if anyone knows what the difference between these two is, which one would you get for your dc and why?  Thanks.

    I don't know details, but at a glance the screen on the explorer looks much more clear than the leapster 2.

    My son just got the Explorer for his birthday.  The screen detail is much better than the Leapster 2 that I have seen in the stores.  You can also buy a camera/video recorder attachment.  Nathan really seems to enjoy his.  He loves the Penguins of Madagascar game.
