If this is your last, then I would find out @ 20w, just so you have both experiences. If it's not, well then do whatever you want, LOL. We are planning on Team Green this time, we found out last time.

I was torn. With DD we were Team Green and I don't remember finding out she was a girl. But DH insists on not knowing, so I think thats what we will go with.
We found out last time and I was originally thinking for surprise this time, but DH said he IS going to find out no matter what I want. So he talked me into finding out. I am a big planner too, so I don't know if I could go 20 weeks without knowing when I could be finding out.
Even though I'm a planner, I opted to be Team Green with #1. We are also doing that with #2. I loved not knowing until the end and being so incredibly surprised to meet my little one with fresh eyes. Not knowing made it difficult at times to plan, but hey...you don't get to do these things often and sometimes I feel that things are just too planned today.
With #2 I have all the same feelings. And I look at it this way...if we end up with a S then I've got all the stuff. If we end up with a D then everyone will be so thrilled (there are no girls younger than 30 on either side of the family) and that little girl will never want for anything.
We are going to find out. We found out last time too. Most of our baby gear is gender neutral, but not the bedding and obviously not the clothing. I am a crazy planner and can't be left to do things like decorate a room at the last minute.
Zoryana Kaitlyn born 4/16/08. 8 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long
Aidan Sean born 5/23/11. 9 lbs 12 oz and 22 inches long
It is definately a personal decision! My sisters have all been surprised for their kids and swear it helps them hang in through the end and labor and delivery to have a surprise waiting.
We found out last time and we are definately finding out again. It really helped me mentally prepare and feel bonded with the babe to know he was a he. Also, I was out of my freaking mind for delivery so I am thankful that I was lucid when we found out via ultrasound. It was really fun to go and tell our families together then too.
Re: Not sure if I want to find out the sex of the baby the second time around???
I def want to know...but I understand wanting that element of surprise.
I def feel the need to plan!
