So yesterday ...

I asked for recommendations on cloth wipes and thank you for all your responses :)

I finally figured out which ones I want but now I want to know how many I should get!? I was thinking 30? We wash every 2 1/2 to 3 days and go through about 8-10 diaper changes a day. I know with disposable wipes I go through like 3-5 with a poop diaper, but I have read that with cloth wipes you don't need that many.

    I'd say 25.  I have 20 of the ones I like & sometimes I dip into the ones I don't like as much.  I use one for pee diapers, but sometimes I need 2 for poop diapers.

    Edit:  What type did you decide on?

    I am going to get some of the Quilter's Nappies ones and some of the Wahmies to see which I like better. The prints on the Quilter's Nappies are so cute I couldn't resist .. I am thinking of getting the flannel/sherpa ones since everyone seems to agree the sherpa is good for really cleaning poop off.

    yay for picking the quilter nappies! (I recommended those) Wink

    I had a fun time picking out prints and the sherpa is an excellent choice (never had to use more than one for a poopy diaper). The velour/sherpa is nice too! I think I have about two dozen or so? but I wash every other day... So a few more is probably good since you want to wash every 3 days.
