toddler poop is grainy? like...granular...

it sticks to his legs and takes a half a box of wipes...also, it looked like there were lentils in it.

um...

wtf?

he hasn't been in a sand box.

    really...

they haven't had any- but I buy whole grain bread, with a lot of flax and other seeds- do you think it would be similar if he ate a lot of it in one day? that is the only thing I can think of...oh- some roasted soy nuts...this has happened before, but I actually thought it WAS sand...because he was playing a lot in the sand box at the time.

cheerios are similar-ish to bread...so...I shouuld not worry?

  • When DD has whole grain bread, her s h i t is like an 80 year old man's poop. Is it super smelly? Could it be virus working its way through?

  • My 18 month old has had bad constipation since he was 10 months old.  We have struggled to get him on a good diet where he has normal poops.  He is FINALLY becoming a somewhat regular pooper, but it's now the constency you describe.  I think, like the PP said, it's because he is on a high fiber diet.

    Perhaps.

IDK, I know not of Wyatt's poopiness.  The bread probably 'splains the lentil things though.  I just know cheerios do it, not sure what else.

  • the kids that kind of poop when they ate a ton of whole wheat bread.    I don't know if it still happens because I only wipe one of their a$$es now..
