My girlfriend and I made 100 jello shots for our Halloween party Saturday night. I don't know that I've had a jello shot since college - but it sounded like a fun thing to do. We have about 12 people in our little group going to a party with over 1000 people at a hotel. Possibly 3 of those people are cute guys interested in me 
Ex-husband sent me texts last night asking to hang out tonight. Of course I politely declined, but then he went on to say he's been thinking a lot about life, he knows he screwed up, and he still loves me. Well, duh, ya think? You threw away the best thing that could ever happen to you. Of course you'd want it back! It just makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside knowing that I'm very happy, and he just seems miserable.

I have only had one beer in the past month. I am really proud of myself because I have finally realized I was drinking way too much on days I didn't have Lucas.

THREE cute guys! I am jealous!
Last weekend I went to a wedding for a girl that I work with. There was a cute guy there that she'd been trying to set me up with for awhile. I had a little bit of wine (ok a lot of wine) and I danced with him. We ended up going back to his house and had a mini-makeout session. Then I hopped in a cab and headed home.
I have zero interest in seeing/speaking to him again. Cute but only 23, I'm 28, also questionable "career choices" if you catch my drift....I don't need to go down THAT road again.

And I love Darius Rucker. He was in town years ago on NYE and played at a small bar I was at (as in, he was there hanging out with friends and just started singing). It was awesome.

First - Angry birds took my soul - I kid you not. I spent wayyyyy to many hours on it.

My FFFC is that this morning I had some sort of weird compulsion to actually answer the phone when DB called. You wanna know what he called me for? To tell me that Verizon now carries the iPad. That was super pertinent to our DD's life. I then asked him how enlisting is going and he says something sooooo stupid. Apparently the navy is "over enlisted" and are "letting people go". I had to inform him that the navy is not a factory and they just don't "let people go". Also, they aren't "over enlisted" they have met their quotas. It's war time, and DB is just an idiot.
Yet I still have the impulse to answer him when he calls. Sad, sad me.
