I am in need of some twirly dresses for DD. I have been able to get her to wear a long sleeved shirt under her summer dresses for a bit, but she hates it. I have a couple of sweater dresses, but they don't twirl.
I have actually resorted to making dd's dresses and skirts lately. It's very hard to find a long sleeved dress that isn't a sweater dress, never mind twirly.
I understand the frustration. Maddie is so particular, that she made us go on line and look up pics from the Wizard of Oz to make sure she had the right color socks for her costume.

That's so funny you mention that. I planned on her wearing her red glitter shoes with her Snow White costume and she would have none of it because they are "Dorothy" shoes.
These kind of posts freak me out. I want to keep sara in a bubble so she never starts to get this kind of demanding about her clothes! It's going to drive me nuts.

It only takes one dress as a gift to start the downward spiral! I never bought her twirly stuff until my MIL bought her one and it was all down hill from there. The problem is that most of them are so gaudy I want to stick a fork in my eye. I can try to make some that are plain.
Re: Anyone know of long sleeved dresses that twirl?
Has my daughter moved in with you??

Chasing Fireflies has this chambray twirl dress. It's $$ though.
The additional photo of the twirl is really cute.
Also, Company Kids has some skirts that would work, if she will do skirts with a l/s top.
