Detergent for front loader

My friend is going to be doing CD (YEAH I converted one!) but she has a front loader and I don't so I wasn't sure what the best detergents are to use...I use the homeade one from the eco blog...can she use that? if not, what can/should she be using?

    I use RnG, but i just got my front loader so I can't really vouch for it yet.

    I use 1 tbs of RnG and I also use the thristies pre-wash with no issues (at least in the last 10 weeks)

    I use charlie's in my front loader and love it.  I know a couple of people who don't CD and use Charlie's in their front loader because it cuts down on that mildewy smell fl's can get sometimes, we haven't had any smell issues.
