Whooping cough..... everyone up to date on vaccines...

Hi there I have to say DS is up to date on his shots.  My DH even had his updated booster...  I was slacking and didn't think anything of it.  Until I was exposed to Whooping cough this month.  I went and got my shot.  Now I have to go get on antibiotics.  Plus, I have to laugh I keep seeing the whooping cough commercial on TV like 10 times a night.  Please go get your shots, especialy if you live in california...

    Done! Ds pedi gave me mine at his 9 month appt. We got flu shots together too.

    DS has had his, but the doc never even mentioned anything to me about getting one....

    I didn't know I was supposed to get one. I see the pedi on Monday, I'll ask then. I wonder if it is different on the East Coast?

    I got mine in the hospital when I delievered DS. There were signs up everywhere about it. We're not in Chicago, but some people I know around here got it a few years ago.

    oops, I mean we're not in CA, but still want to be protected.

    This is the information i have from all the stuff i have been reading.  You get your shots when you are a child.  Please go get them updated.  I have even asked my DC provider to check to make sure she is updated.  Anyone around small children should have an updated vaccine...
