Question for Baby Wearing Mama's

Please recommend your wrap/slip for 5 month olds. My DD loved my hotsling when she was a newborn but she's not feeling it now. I've tried adjusting her to where she is facing out or is riding on my hip. She can't master the hip thing yet but loves facing out. I want a good wrap/bjorn to wear baby facing out that doesn't look too masculine.

I have an Ergo which we love, but doesn't allow outward facing. You can get a wrap (like a moby but not stretchy) or I *believe* a Beco allows outward facing and is similar to the Ergo. Bjorns aren't good because they're crotch hangers and not comfortable for baby or mom, ideally their knees are a little above their bottom, like a seat.

The AP board should have a lot more answers for you.

I use a bijorn air and me and jack love it. I have never used it more than an hour at a time though

The Beco Gemini would be a good option. You can use a variety of different carries and LO can face out in the front carry.

I have a Gemini, a Babyhawk, and a woven. By far, I prefer the Gemini. Many different carries, different patterns, and very comfortable. GL!

We are still using the Moby, but if I were you I'd get a woven wrap. You can do lotus carry which is outward facing. DD LOVES it in the Moby, but soon she'll be too big for a stretchy wrap.
