WDYT: DH and Vacation

DH just called and asked if I wanted to go on a hunting trip with him and his buddies between Christmas and New Years. Its not that I don't want to hang out with him and 4 smelly hunting buddies, but the thought of South Dakota in December really doesn't sound like a vacation.

We both are in dire need of a few days away. I really don't want DH to go somewhere without me, we've never gone anywhere that hasn't revolved around a work trip. We haven't even been on a honeymoon.

I don't want to tell him he can't go, because we both need it. But, is it wrong to tell him I'd rather go somewhere we both enjoy?

    I have a brother in SD, I can totally understand not wanting to go hang there in the winter! If it were me, I would suggest to DH doing something we would both enjoy. Otherwise, if he's dead set on the hunting trip, maybe you sit this one out and go on a girls trip sometime?
