Anyone have a recommendation? My OB likes one from Johns Hopkins but thats an hour away. I'd prefer Christiana because of the location but they tend to vary in their recommendations. thanks!
I'll let you know when I go for my next appointment. Apparently they have a great consultative relationship and she does teleconferencing in our office. It's a woman.
I had to see the high risk OB at Hopkins when I was diagnosed with GD. I hated it!! I begged my regular OB to please take me back and promised I would be really really good with my diet so I didn't have to go back there. I had to go to bayview for the appointment which was a clusterf*ck. They were like an hour late for my appt. The nurse finally took me back for my weight and BP and wouldn't address any of my questions (I had lost 5 pounds in less than a week and was in my last trimester so I was concerned. Then they take me to another room where I wait forever again. Then 2 med students come in and ask a bunch of questions. Then I wait again for the dr to come in who had horrible bedside manner, dismissed my questions again, and basically told me I was a bad mother for having Sugar free ice cream for dessert one night. I left that appointment in tears and was on the phone with my regular OB the next day.

Firedancer-do you remember that doctor's name? I think I'm going to check out Christiana first. My OB said he's going to email the one at Hopkins and let me know what she thinks at my ultrasound in 3 weeks.
Re: High Risk OB/Perinatologist-Hopkins or Christiana?
Hi,
Sorry I don't have an opinion, but I'm curious who your OB likes at Hopkins? I live in Baltimore and will be high-risk with my next PG too.
TIA!
