So when registering this past week for my upcoming shower I thought about wipes for the first time since becoming pregnant. Do most people who CD use disposables or cloth?

We use both. I think it is easier to use cloth because I can just toss it in the pail with the CDs. DH is scared of them so he prefers disposables. I just use wash cloths that I got for my shower that I didn't register for. I ended up with 4 packages. Really, how many do you need to wash a baby?

We used disposables in the beginning, but then you had to separate them out when you were done. With cloth wipes, they all go in the same bin. We just use the cheap Circo washcloths from Target as our cloth wipes. They work well.
I use cloth wipes, DH uses disposable. I am working on converting him. Honestly, I much prefer cloth. They get DD cleaner & it takes less to get her clean. When disposable wipes are used on her even if I use 5 she still smells poopy afterward.
I use cloth at home, and SeventhGeneration baby wipes for the diaper bag. I have a tub of them on our changing table too because sometimes DH prefers to use them (though he's starting using cloth wipes recently) and some of my family that watches DD prefer those. I wouldn't use any sposie wipes other than those though. Too much crap in them.

I got a ton of washcloths also. I guess people like bath stuff because I got a lot of towels too. I probably received a total of 25+ washcloths not including the ones that I got as hand-me-downs. I use them now for wipes and they work great for it . It's amazing how many of them I actually go through a day - I find myself reaching for them for various other things also, since they are out on the changing table. I wipe down the wood, my pump bag, the other places that get hit when DS pees during a change or I spray during a feeding, his face, etc.
I think they are way better than disposables - I don't need to separate out trash and cloth, they are better for his bum and the enviro, they hang dry really fast, it's fun to change up the solution and try new scents, and mixtures, it only takes one wipe, even for the messiest poops, and they have lots of uses. I even use them when I go out. Easier to throw everything in a wetbag than needing to find a trashcan. I haven't had any problem getting DH to use them, and I think MIL will use them when she watches DS, but there are some disposables in the bag in case that's what she wants to use.
What do y'all use with your cloth wipes? Just plain water? Or do you have a solution you use to help clean?
In a marked 2L bottle, I put 1/2c baby wash, 1/2c baby oil, 10-12 drops TTO and warm water. I marked the measuring points on the bottle so that I don't need to use a measuring cup for my solution anymore...just pour until I reach the first line, then pour the second until the mixture reaches the 2nd line, then add the oil and water and I'm done.
