Lately - not handling the wait well

The waiting process has been such a roller coaster for me. Sometimes I am OK with it and other times it just kills me. Lately I find myself saying to people "IF we get a baby" instead of "WHEN we get a baby". It just feels like it will never happen. Anyone else there with me? How long have people been waiting? We have been presented to mothers since Feb. It's a painful wait.

Any advice on how to make this easier?

I've been at this for a while... and there are times that the wait is harder than other times. I don't have any words of wisdom. It's tough.

I'm having a hard time right now also!!! I don't have any advice but just know you are definitely not alone! You WILL get your baby though! Maybe not as soon as you would like but it will happen eventually!

I am 110% immersing myself in my work as a distraction. The wait was worse over the summer when I had more time to dwell on/we were doing activities that I want to do WITH our future child.

I caught myself saying IF again the other day too. The wait is so hard, but I just keep telling myself it will be worth it!!
