Discount code for Nutcracker tickets

15% discount until Dec. 5 with the code "EARLYNUT."  (heehee!)

If you go, here's my advice (I've been a season ticketholder for years):

1.  Pre-order for intermission!!!  No one except ballet regulars seems to know this, but you can pre-order refreshments before the ballet starts and they will be ready and waiting for you at intermission so you don't have to wait in line.

2.  Get there early.  Not just to pre-order, but because they may not seat you until intermission if you're late.

3.  Chair cushions are available for kids (at coat check, I think).

4.  If you're planning to eat nearby (either before or after) make sure you have reservations well in advance.  If you buy the 3-course dinner at The Melting Pot, you can have the appetizer and main course before the ballet and they will give you a voucher for dessert so you can do that afterward if you want.

    I cannot wait to take Audrey --- in another few years...   how old do kids usually start going?  4 ish? maybe next year at 3.5?

    Might have to buy tix just for me...  :)

    We took Kiah when she was 5. We made a night of it, got all fancy really nice dinner with mom and daughter and then the Nutcracker! So fun!

    My BFF has been taking her daughter since she was 2, and she has sat through the entire program.  I'm taking Evie this year, but I don't think she will have the attention span to watch the whole thing.  I figure I can take her out to see the decorations or the gift shop if she gets restless:).
