Yes, especially because you live in FL. I think less people would frown on it where I'm at because we actually don't get our biggest hit of winter snow until March and April (5 ft in 22 hours last April!), but I still think I would get the side eye with calling March winter. Most people don't go by the scientific seasons - instead I think Dec/Jan/Feb are common "winter" months, Mar/Apr/May = spring, Jun/Jul/Aug = summer and Sep/Oct/Nov = fall.

Since you live in FL, I don't think it really matters when you have it. It's not like it's an issue of whether snow will be on the ground. I say, enjoy it, and do what you want to do.

I loved the idea because I am in Florida. We never get anything wintery here. Thought it would be nice to bring some winter fun to the Sunshine state.
