Best phone call ever!

I haven't had my cell phone for the past 3 day! It's been driving me crazy because I keep thinking that something might happen and I wont be able to get a hold of anyone.

So yesterday I was checking my messages and got a call from my fertility doctor asking me what DH and I were thinking about doing for treatment, and what our next step was going to be. When we found out in January that we only had a 4% chance and that I would have to have surgury if I had another M/C we told her that we would wait and see what happend in the next two years and then start talking about or treatment again.

This morning I got to call her back and told her that I am 26 pregnant with a baby boy!

    what a great success story! i'm sure that also makes the dr's day when they find out one of their patients finally has something go well for them!

    I bet if felt so good to be able to tell her that!!  We concieved this baby via IUI but my 14dp iui beta came back negative, I tested again 4 days later and got a BFP!!  It was a pretty great phone call to be able to call the IF clinic and tell them they were wrong I was pg after all : )

    That is such wonderful news!  The first fertility clinic we went to told me I had less than 5% chance of ever conceiving, whether on my own or with assistance.  Obviously I switched doctors and headed more towards NYC.  We tried an IUI in April, which didn't take ... and then low and behold became pregnant NATURALLY in May!  I would love to visit that first doctor once the baby arrives and have a few words with him.
