Moms-to-be in Greenville, SC

Hi Mommies-to-be,

We are expecting our little girl in Feb. My husband and I are thinking about taking a labor and delivery class at St. Francis. Has anyone taking these classes before and are they helpful? Input is much appreciated!

    I'm not going to be much help, but Congrats.  We did the Baby basics class and it was great.  I also recommend if you can, do the yoga class offered through them, it was great at relieving back pain.  Congratulations on your little girl...they are tons of fun

    I am due in Feb. too and am delivering at St. F! We are signed up to do the classes in Nov/Dec since they dont have them available for Jan. yet! I have heard they are good which is why we are going to do them!

    Congratulations!

    I took the labor and delivery, child preparation and breast feeding info classes at St. Francis-they were all great classes. I totally recommend them.  The labor and delivery class had great information on techniques to try at home to put off going to the hospital too early.  Its a all day class but I thought it was totally worth it. I wish you could sign up for the class based on the instructor-ours was awesome.

    Thanks everyone for the advice! We are really excited about the classes we have chosen to take a St. Francis! We actually, just signed up today! We are taking the OB Orientation class and the Caring For Your Baby Class. I appreciate everyone's input and I will let you know how it goes! :)

    Hello!
    Congratulations on your upcoming arrival! I had a baby at St. Francis also (LOVED it there) and took child basics, breast feeding and preparation...and thought they were all great. I would recommend them for sure.
