Matthew just turned 1 year old and we would like to take him to one of this places during the weekend, we went to the Reston Zoo a month or two ago and he loved watching the animals and taking the hay rides.

I would love to hear about your experiences with your little ones! TIA!

  • My son really liked Ticonderoga.  It has animals, slides, hay ride, etc.  Highly recommend it.

  • Cox Farms is really popular, though I've never been.  We tend to go to stuff right around out house like this:  https://www.pumpkinplayground.com/ so we don't have to drive too far.

  • My son loved Pumpkinville, which is at the Leesburg Animal Park.  It's a bit of a hike, but they have animals, hay rides, bouncy slides, pumpkins, apple cider etc.
  • We enjoyed Summers Farm in Frederick.  There's a corn maze and lots of stuff for little ones.

  • We went to Cox Farms last weekend in centreville. It was a blast! They had a great hayride, tons of slides, different activities for kids of all ages, performers, a market and of course a pumpkin patch! it was a ton of fun.
