We have the bjorn synergy and love it. Very comfortable...I could walk around all day with it on. It's the higher end model of all the bjorns though. It's made a lot better than the basic one when it comes to comfort.
I should add that I have the Baby bjorn "Active"...but DD was/is a big girl. Off the charts for height and weight since 2 months, and I'm rather pettite.

loved it!! Hands down the best carrier I ever used! DD was tiny (I am tiny) and I have a very bad back, but it was comfortable for me and her. I can see how it might be uncomfortable for a bigger baby though.

It hurt my back terribly.
I much prefer my Ergo or CatBird Baby mei tai wrap.

I had the Bjorn Original carrier. My 10 lb baby hurt my back, collar bone and shoulders so bad I was starting to have back problems.
I got rid of it and got the Ergo. I highly recommend it.
