We wash every other day, unless we have an unusually pooperific day and go through more covers than normal.
TTC#1 since Mar 2008. Serious MFI due to cancer.
3 cancelled IUI's, just about every test in the book.
IVF#1 - BFP! Twin girls arrived 2/5/10 at 35w2d.
I tried washing every other day but the diapers just don't get clean enough when there are so many in the washer. DD1 still poops a lot, and even though she STTNs, she still goes through 7-9 diapers a day. DD2 goes through 12-15 diapers a day. So I really need to wash every 24 hours. Thankfully I don't mind doing laundry ... but this means I have no justification for a stash so large!

Were you able to wash EOD in the beginning when they were going more often?
The girls were roughly 6 weeks old before we had both in CD full time due to one of them being in a harness for hip dysplasia that didn't allow for the bulk of CD's. So by 6 weeks, we were able to go EOD. We've never had an issue with our washer getting full before the 2 day point, but we also have a HE front loader.

I wash EOD. It works for me. We have 3 in diapers and it works great for me. No stinkies. The only thing is that when I send the diapers to the sitter, that she would rinse off the really PB poopy ones instead of leaving most of it on the diaper. We have a few that are stained and I just need to sun them to get it out! (We use RnG detergent) I do a cold rinse, hot wash with an extra rinse. Occasionally use vinegar in the first rinse.
