Childcare cost

Hi!  I'm a new mommy and currently on maternity leave but will return to work next month.  I was wondering what's the average cost per month for a nanny or babysitter for 5 days per week?  How much would it be to take the baby to the sitter?  THanks!

    think it depends on where you live. in our area it's $500-$600 / week for a nanny. 

     daycare is $250 / week.

    Hey I think that Monika is about right... that's pretty much the normal amount anywhere you go. I'm also a new mother I have a 14 month & 3 month old. I have recently not been able to work because of high childcare prices. So I have been looking for babysitting jobs that way I can take my children with me. I only charge $150 a week.
